Bayards Hill Primary School is a partner school within The Community Schools Alliance Trust working alongside Barton Park Primary School located in the adjoining Barton neighbourhood. Both schools feed into the secondary school within the Trust, Cheney School. Across the Trust we celebrate diversity and the richness it brings to our school communities, the experiences we can share and the learning we can take away from each other.

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our school as Instructional Teacher Coach to work across the whole school.
An instructional coach supports teachers by providing ongoing professional development, building their teaching skills, and assisting them in applying new knowledge.
As an Instructional Teacher Coach role will focus on working with all teachers across the school to bring about improvements in teaching and learning – focused on using the Rosenshine Principles and Instructional Coaching.
Have responsibility for teaching across whole school:
● Coach, mentor and team teach
● Be a key part of teaching team within the school, developing teaching and learning
This vacancy is suitable for experienced teachers. Payment is on the Teacher Main Scale and up to Upper Pay 3 scale depending on experience.
This post is permanent, three days per week, 0.6FTE. The possibility of full time hours will also be considered which would be 0.4 of class teacher responsibility preferably within KS2 but we are open to other phases of teaching for the right candidate.
