Salary: Grade 6 – £19,385 to £ 21,403 per annum

Bayards Hill Primary School is a partner school within The Community Schools Alliance Trust working alongside Barton Park Primary School located in the adjoining Barton neighbourhood. Both schools feed into the secondary school within the Trust, Cheney School. We are seeking to appoint a school Caretaker. The principle duties that come with the role are as follows:
- monitoring of the school’s electrical and mechanical systems (including heating and ventilation plant) in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and liaising with external contractors and their property care consultants as necessary to achieve this;
- maintenance and renovation of the school’s premises and fittings;
- site security.
This post is permanent, 35 hours per week, predominantly 06:30 -14:00 with a 30-minute break (shift times are subject to the operational needs of the school).
You will be entitled to 24 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. Annual leave is expected to be taken outside of term-time.
Salary: Grade 6 – £19,385 to £21,403 (depending on experience)
