In 2016 we launched a new homework policy. The new policy makes it clear when homework is set and returned.  It also ensures more challenge as children get older.

Half -Termly Wider Curriculum Project -Years 1 to 6

This is always set in Week 1 of each half-term. Details can be found in the half term Curriculum Document and there is a Parent Curriculum Workshop the on first Wednesday of each -half term.

The wider curriculum project is a practical project based around the topic work for that half- term. It allows pupils to be creative and for the whole family to get involved. Year groups often hold an exhibition at the end of the topic to show case the work produced. 

Homework Club

  • This is on offer to all pupils in Years 3 & 4 on a Wednesday from 3.00 – 3.45pm.  It is opportunity for children to stay behind and complete the weekly homework with support from our Learning Mentors.
