  • Super special awards!!

    This morning Zach, Lewis and Lylah were all feeling extremely proud of their achievements!! Zach received the English award for showing a great maturity in his work and using all of the feedback given to him for developing his skills...I can't wait to buy one of his books in the future! Lewis received the Maths award for constantly developing his reasoning skills and understanding how numbers can be used in everyday life, along with showing lots of determination to become a better mathematician. Lylah has been such a kind and considerate member of Symphony class and has received the Teacher's choice award. She is always smiling, always tries hard in everything she attempts and is the friend who everbody wants in their life.

    A huge 'well done!' to Kyrese for really working hard with his writing!! Mrs Cadman is really proud of all the hard work and effort he has put into developing his reading skills. We have also shown a great development in his writing skills too...keep up the great work Kyrese!

  • Bangra drumming fun!!

    Today we had a great experience learning how to play different Indian percussion instruments! We had to listen very carefully to the leader, Connor, and respond using our instruments. We all learned that this was a Bangra style of music. It was very loud but lots of fun!!

  • Star writer and role model awards!

    Lexie really deserves her star writer award this week after lots of practice at home with her parents and hard work at school! She is thinking really carefully now about how a sentence is made and how her letters should look. A huge well done to Kai for achieving the role model award! He has been thinking really carefully about his behaviour choices and is making sure he is ready for year 2!

  • Friday award winners!

    After working really hard to always try his best and make the right choices, Lewis has finally received the role model award as he has worked really hard to show us how to be a great pupil. Diletta has really improved her writing and is making lots more effort to write all her letters neatly and properly whenever she is writing. Well done to you both!

    This afternoon we were surprised by some special Christian visitors. They taught us how to think carefully about the things we do in everyday life and how we can help other people feel better about themselves. We all had a lovely time being calm together and having some quality thinking time too.

    A huge "well done" to Sienna for changing her attitude to learning in the classroom, making sure that she always tries her best and listens carefully to the teacher. Chenai has been working really hard to improve her writing in all lessons and is beginning to think more carefully about the writing she produces. (P.S. I'm sorry the photograph is upside down!)

  • Star writer, Role model and Super reader!

    Sami has been a great role model this week, constantly working hard and trying his best to join in more during lessons. Elizabeth amazed us all with her brilliant factfile about Nelson Mandela. She used beautiful handwriting and checked all her spellings with the important words list we have made this week. Ernie has been working incredibly hard with Mrs Cadman every day and his determination to be a better reader has certainly paid off, resulting in him being a fabulous reader.

    Congratulations to Krystian and Anette-Rose!! A super piece of information writing got Krystian the star writer award this week, showing us all how to include lots of facts about the Solar System in our work. Anette-Rose has been a model pupil for a long time and her hard work and helpfulness has resulted in her receiving our role model award this week.

  • Buzzing about Beebots!!

    Today we were lucky enough to have a suprise visit from some of the year 6 digital leaders! They showed us how to program a Beebot so it moved in different directions. All children worked really well together and learned lots of new skills.
